Status in Cscape provides the capability to monitor real-time status of a controller. This is valuable for viewing controller name, controller mode, controller scan rate, firmware versions details etc., in run time.

Status Procedure

Connect Cscape with an OCS Controller and select status to view the current status of the controller.

The following window will be displayed on selecting Controller Status:

• Model – This Item shows Controller’s Model Number.
• Mode - This Item shows Controller’s Status like Run, Idle, DO I/O.
• Scan Rate - This Item shows Controller’s scan rate in milli Seconds.
• Target’s Net Usage – This Item shows cscan usage data
• Total Net Usage – This Item shows the total CAN usage of the network, if it is connected in CAN network.
• Ladder size – This Item shows the size of ladder logic inside the Controller.
• Percent Full – This Item shows total usage of Controller’s memory in percentage.
• Config size – This Item shows the size of Hardware Configuration.
• Graphics size – This Item shows the size of Graphics data.
• String size – This Item shows the size of string.
• Bitmap A non-compressed image file format which uses small dots in a grid pattern to create an image. size – This Item shows the size of Bitmap used in screens.
• Text Tbl size – This Item shows the size of all Text Tables inside the program.
• Font size – This Item shows the size of Font used in screens.
• Protocol size – This Item shows the size of protocol configuration.
• Messaging size – This Item shows the size of all messages configured in program.
• Data logger The process of recording data over a period of time in order to analyze specific trends or record the data-based events/actions of a system, network, or IT environment. It enables the tracking of all interactions through which data, files, or applications are stored, accessed, or modified on a storage device or application. size – This Item shows the size of data log configuration
• Firmware Rev – This Item shows the firmware version details of the controller.
• FPGA Rev – This Item shows the FPGA version details of the controller.
• OS Version – This Item shows the OS version details of the controller.
• InitRD Rev- This Item shows the InitRD version details of the controller.

Note: Only Items which are supported by the connected OCS will get displayed in the control status dialog.
